You are making a claim that each of these ships directly followed the other.

I am saying that I would like for you to present those sources before I will consider your claim to be supported.

Without supporting sources I contend that we cant know that one directly followed the other.

No, it gives us an incomplete and inaccurate progression of ships that have been named Enterprise.

To clarify: The shields on many of the ships are stronger with shields going up to 17, 18, 19 and 20 points (and higher for the more technologically advanced ships like the Dominion and Borg) - I just dont believe the game plays as well if you scale these up more than this.

It is entirely possible that there will be ships that are incapable of damaging a larger ship.

If you feel that some particular ship should be able to damage some other ship then design it so that it can.

That would be impossible if the larger ship has shields able to power up to 35, 40 or even 50 points.

A) I am one of those people who feel that fighters do not have a place in Star Trek.

They are very rarely seen in Star Trek and when they are they are usually pathetically easy to overcome.

B) If you do include them, simply design them in such a way that they can do what you feel that they should be able to do.
